Community access
Our Community Access support is tailored to each participant’s goals, interests, and daily routines. We provide practical assistance to help individuals engage in their community, complete everyday activities, attend medical and allied health appointments, and explore opportunities that support them to thrive.
We focus on building independence, confidence, and social connection by supporting participants to take part in meaningful activities that align with their personal goals.
Community access may include:
- Attending community events and social outings
- Visiting friends and family
- Shopping and completing daily errands
- Attending medical and allied health appointments
- Accessing cafes, restaurants, and public spaces
- Participating in hobbies such as art, music, sport, or recreation
- Building social confidence and everyday living skills
Why community access matters
Being actively involved in the community supports independence, well-being, and a sense of belonging. It creates opportunities to build skills, form meaningful relationships, and engage in experiences that enhance quality of life and help individuals thrive.
